I think a pro tour is a good idea. I definitely have the most fun playing the 2k open online. And until or if :x 2k fixes the serving problems for male players in player creator, only two freaking service motions - ridiculous, I will definitely prefer pros...

what's fun is that almost everybody who talk about the "better" players of the roster quote differents pros...If we read the forum, we see a lot of Roddicks, but also a lot of Nadal, Djokovic, Blake, Agassi, Federer, Murray...so I think it'll be much more varied than the skeptics expect...

The game is 2 weeks old. Give ITST guys a chance - and they will single out a few favorites

In that case we should have a pro-tour as soon as possible, before 'The Stig' has been revealed.

I think the idea of 3 different gamestyle opened quite a lot of doors : I mean in each style, their is good players which can be very efficient, and I'm sure that players like sampras or rafter'll be much appreciated once ITST guys will accomodate the S&V style (which is quite hard to master I agree). That's an exemple to say that ITSTs experience can also bring diversity in the pro choice instead of reducing it...I definitely think this is a good idea.

And dude, you have only used 2 pros for now, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet. Wait till you play the full game, pros are not ballanced, far from it.

I understand you thou, this is a "VT thung" and I liked it too. It might work or it may not. We never did a full blown Pro tour, day in and day out. It might get boring with same players being used.

Wait, what?? I think I got misunderstood.

Anil I never said you sucked! Definitely never said that! haha.

What I was saying about weaker players maybe having a 'crutch' is all just based on this paragraph from Anil, maybe I misunderstood it!

'I think that the custom characters need more skills from the player itself. Because of their 2 skills only. It's is maybe a handicap which makes the customs actually cool to play with. '

It just sounds like he's saying that because custom characters have 1 less skill than the pros, that makes them 'harder to play with' and therefore 'better'.

I dunno! Whatever. I don't care either way let's all play the game with our dongs for all i care

God I really need to write better. No I ment that as the customs have 2 skills it's harder to play with them . They are more handicapped. So you need a bit more timing etc...

But that's only my opinion of course.

Actually he is a lot of fun to use. I played a few 2K matches with him (won them all :) ). One close one, afterwards the guy sent me a message saying "You ugly player" or something like that because I hit about 10-15 drop shots and just hit deep topspin control shots and short slices most of the match. I just sent him a message saying "That's basically how Chang played in real life lol..."

LOL that's true Sherlock hahaha I'm sure he didn't appreciate that response...

But see for how I play, Chang's not the guy for me. Once I get my control and timing to where I can hit shots like HE used to, it'd be fun to play with him for sure, just for the reason you described to piss people off hehehe
