Hey is it ok if we change 69 to 70 (or make an exception for me)?
Don t matter which coach i use, my forehand/backhand can t be lower as 70.
If not i must create a new player just because of the test tournament and i have already 4 and wouldn t like to delete one.

I guess 69 or 70 isn t that much difference...
you do realise 69 is still very strong from 60 -65 is fairly solid 66-70 measns it wont breakdown and you can hit winners with it and go for shots

Quite the opposite man, ITST is made for fun but within the parameters of rules. The majority of the site are actually not happy enough as they are because there has been so much controversy and discussion on the forum. Rules enhance gameplay, not restrict it, take it from someone who knows

Yes, this will still go on as planed. I think this is still a "good" set of rules, a bit more strict, but certainly interesting. I will create the draw shortly.

Yeah the new rules are wonderful but a few more rules, like the one in this thread, would only further help the normal tour.

Okay. I played my match tonight. My opponent, dsavbeast012, disconnected immediately right after I broke him to go up 5-2 in the second set. I was leading 6-4, 5-2. Initially I led 5-1 in the first set, but he began slicing my returns and played numerous slices to win points. I was struggling to hold serve, but finally managed to hold for 6-4. In the second set, it went easier. He didn't cheese much anymore. He began to play to his skills. One of his skills is drop shot artist. Forgot the other. It's much more fun compared to the usual TI/MD combo. I like it immensely. It's a shame my opponent couldn't take losing and had to disconnect. Very unsportsmanlike conduct. I thought the members on this board would be more courteous compared to online in the game when disconnecting is so frequent.

My player is Ares God (reach swings expert/highly flammable). His is Dewan Savage.

To me your game was more cheese. Your slice is overpowered, others have talked about the ridiculousness of the slice in this game. I wasn't cheesing, your serves were so slow and since this game is retarded and won't let you attack slow serves, I started to chip and charge, which anyone who knows tennis knows is a real tactic to use against a weak server.

In the 2nd set again, YOUR slice was overpowered. Your player is balanced but you exploit the slice and the fact that slice is overpowered in this game. I try to play sim, ask anyone else that's played me like SportekIronic. As far as disconnecting, I apologize. I got frustrated. I've lost matches 6-0, 6-0 in the past so it's not a matter of being a sore loser, just let my emotions get the best of me.

To sum up - I thought you were exploiting the slice, not me. I used the slice in a normal way, you used the slice to try to hit winners. Not very realistic, but since this isn't a sim tour I guess that's Ok. Whatever, I try to play a sim game but I guess playing cheap and using exploits is a better way, whether it's TI/MD or the overpowered slice.

Also to me it seemed like you were serving weak intentionally, since it's much harder to return the slow serve than the fast serves. When I started to chip and charge you magically started to serve faster, which makes me think it was intentionally to serve that slowly at first.

And for the record my skills are diesel hard hitter/volley shots artist.

I was mixing up my serves. Since I haven't mastered serving (hitting lines, wide or slice), I mainly use them to start the point. Also, I don't think I was over-using the slice. I apologize if you think my intention was anything else.
