I know some people were saying that you cant play with fed as an offensive baseliner?

Well I think that is total bs. After finally getting the demo today, I can beat nadal 7-1, 7-2 easy and not go to the net once. I just hit right through him, so I think fed can be used as an offensive baseliner. You just have to have the right person controlling him

As far a the demo goes I'm still going with serena as having the best set up. Ok she cannot volley for shit, but serve will still be the key issue in this game, and she can more than match nadal from baseline with good shot selection and timing, I do realise tho that playing against CPU is a dam site easier than playing you guys .....but I expect there will be an awful lot of points won with aces or unreturnable serves this time for anyone who sets their player up this way.

Just out of interest has anyone managed a cross court returned winner against CPU ? From an outwide serve with slice

i agree with you.
Soon to say if net players will have more chances to success in TS4 than they had in TS3, but as always baseliners will rule the tour, i mean the best ITST net player will succumb against the best ITST baseliner, always, which is good because that's what happens in real life.
After weeks playing the demo i see that the defensive style is ver important in the game, so i'm looking forward to use Chang, that guy has to be a beast from the baseline, players will sweat blood to win points against him.
My first created player will have high stamina, high speed, a decent forehand and backhand and a mediocre serve and volley, but as time goes on i'll be creating all type of players
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I've been doing the exact same thing.

Except I'm beating him 7-0 or 7-1 every time :P

Yeah thought that in the first Demo Days too but if you get used to the Controlles and mix them good for the different Situations it's much easier.
Ofcourse can you use Fed. as a offensive Baseliner too, like in real Life.

By the Way, I tried to play with Nadal yesterday the first Time and played like Shit. Didn't thought that's it's such a Difference to play with a Lefti in a Videogame but it's totally unusual for me to play with him.

I switched back to Federer after that and powned the CPU like in the Matches before. I will definitely not create a Lefti in my Career and will avoid to play with one.

Well it seems I can't play TS3 like I want to anymore from playing the TS4 demo almost like everyday since it came out.
Seems I can't cross that threshold just yet :(

Xavi? ...he is Rafa Nadal. He is currently has a position of Senior Host with ITST. We are really lucky to have him.

The real nadal? Currently world #1? Really o_O? Wow.

It's easy to beat cpu with fed from baseline, but I was talking about a human. It's still possible, but much harder.

Yeah its like an open secret. Rafa doesn't have a great deal of time to post (as is expected) but we love it when he does.

I think we should operate on first name basis a lot more. At least for regular members....

And do do that with the members whose names I can remember.

Does anyone else feel a clear difference in surface in the USO court and the RG court? When playing with Federer against Nadal I win significantly easier on hard than on clay. The rallies are shorter and powerful shots have more impact on hard, while on clay Nadal is getting lots of those balls back with interest. Like it should be!
