Yeah, all these little details are awesome. :)

I really hope that they have tweaked the lob, it's way to easy to pull it off in the demo, even when you're under pressure. If they haven't made it harder to hit a good lob it's gonna be a all dropshots and lobs online. :?

Hi All.

Nice forum! A lot of (tennis-)freaks here. ;) Im a bit sad, that I did not found it earlier :( What I read about your Sim tour sounds like real fun. My TS3 online time was 5 days of facing only honks with 100 power 100 serve stats, etc..., resulting in quitting the game. But different story...

TS4 Impressions: ITS GREAT!!! Way more fun and dynamic gameplay. I love that you can feel the different playstyles. Cant wait to play against humans.

One thing that is not enough appreciated here are the new helpers for game access. Especially the timing helper. I know most of you guys are pros and dont need it, but sometimes someone is only one step away to become lets say "semipro" and this helped a lot.

My bet for the most successful playstyle goes to the offensive baseliners. Strong serve plus good baseline game. Maybe in combination with a gold fitness coach. Serena is really a beast. I can serve up to 4 aces against the cpu on hard mode. She also can hold up good in rallies and play some nice angles. :)

Looks like Top Spin's fan site #ITST has uncovered me .. :P Quite funny to see 'unconfirmed rumors of a producer jumping ship...'

Notice how it's us getting mentioned and not some other tennis gaming site.

Wonder why that is. :P

Confirmation needed.

From the 2K forums:

So Federer's service motion is correct...

...sort of. I could have sworn I saw a platform stance a couple times now. I mentioned it to a friend on 360. He found that using the RB on serve to serve and volley makes Federer use a platform stance. So note that you will be telegraphing your intentions to your opponent should you choose to come to net. A pinpoint stance to stay at the baseline and a platform to SV. Sweet!!!

depending on the serve motion you chose in TS3, the SV serve was quicker so we could already guess what was coming.
As for Fed in TS4, i dont think it is true because i tried it i think and don't remember seeing his real motion.
Also that would be pretty stupid. One of his strong point is exactly the fact that his serve is very difficult to read because he has always the exact same motion and very small difference of the toss between a top spin serve and a flat serve. That's one of the things that made him a lethal server.
