Haha now this is awesome! So want to make a shot like that! :D

You have to be more varied with your style when using fed. You don't have the luxury of playing in a 1-dimensional way like rafa/serena.

Believe me, I know variation. I can vary my game pretty drastically in TS3, and since TS4 is more or less the same in controls, that is why I make this statement.

no doubt in my mind at this point, All rounder will be the weaker on the 4 styles. How much weaker - remains to be seen. But certainly weaker.

I see you point, but that is a theory for now.

The reason is one style is weaker then the other, is because it is tougher to play that style. Bottom line, anyone who will be good at All arounder - will be GREAT with basleiners.

Just the way I see it. It is not a "fit" question, rather difficulty.

So far the only 'problems' I've noticed are that drop shots are incredibly easy to pull off....I have hit a few PERFECT drop shot winners on a dead run. And also as a return of serve  Also lobs are very easy as well, yesterday I hit a control shot lob from maybe 10 feet behind the baseline that landed right on the baseline.

Other than that the game seems really well balanced. We're talking about a demo here, so we're really basing our judgements on the way 4 characters perform. Personally I think you're going to be able to get away with whatever style you want to play in this game.

I'm best with Nadal but I'm not bad with Fed either. I don't think Nadal is so much better than Fed...you can still crush the ball with Federer's BH or FH- the main difference for me is Nadal's movement is just much better. I get wrong footed much more with Fed, he just feels awkward. I feel more comfortable playing as a lefty anyways, so that probably has something to do with it.

I love this demo and it's hard to say anything bad about it because I can already see it 1000 times better than the last one and 1000000 times better than any other games out there. My biggest complaint is honestly that I have to wait another week XD

Yeah this is one of the most fun tennis games I've played since...maybe ever :P

I think Cro Morgan said it best that it's a mixture of VT3 and TS....I didn't see the VT3 at first but I've realized the movement feels a lot like VT3, where you feel like your character is on ice or something..but in a good way  The rallies feel awesome, just free and flowing and the characters are not SPRINTING to every single shot like they are in TS3..that really took me out of the game with TS3, it made the rallies look horribly fake.

I am actually considering either A) Selling TS3 (Depending on how much Gamestop will give me, which is probably next to nothing B) Burning TS3, C) Breaking TS3, X) Throwing TS3 away, or Z) Use TS3 as a coaster. I mean TS4 really makes it look like a gigantic stinking pile of donkey s**t

I'M PUMPED FOR THIS GAME, AND THE PAIN THAT I'M GOING TO BRING EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!

OHHH YEAH!! Image

Though unconfirmed, there are a number of reports floating about the Internet that one of the producers of Virtua Tennis 3 was hired by 2K to work on Top Spin 4. My guess, this tennis-loving producer was sick of vapor trails and decided to jump ship.

Oh no you DI'N'T

You did not just bring up the vapor trails in a mocking manner. Those are what made VT3 VT3

Unconfirmed? Someone posted a twitter account before of one of the devs. Google his name. He actually participated in creating all vt games.

That would be a game with unnecessary vapor trails.
