Can we (like in TS3) Stop the camera from being behind our controlled player, so whenever there is a court change, our controlled player gets at the other side of the court (the same place as the CPU). Basically can we exchange sides with the CPU during the court change? (the option in TS3 was named camera follow)

It was on the demo - doubt it will have been removed from the full game.

Watched this video and it looks like returning from inside the lines will be effective... see around 1.45.

Maybe a little too effective. :?

Well, he missed a couple of returns, but I agree that there seems to bit a little to easy swing at the ball early.

Djarvik, will it be possible to have an answer on whether or not this shot is cheesy and a rule put in place before the 1st tournament?

Ok no offense but I don't think it should be up to djarvik or any 1 person  Or even 5 people who decide what's 'cheesy' in a game...still a very scary thought to me.

It's gotta be a major consensus or nothing. IMO.

You cannot make arbitrary judgements that something 'seems too easy'...for who?? That really doesn't make sense.

Non taken, and I do agree it is not up to Djarvik to decide this, and I am not saying it is or is not cheesy. However ITST seems to have a group of hosts and trusted well standing members who often come to together in things like this (take the sim tour) and test it out and come to a conclusion.
I'm not saying it should just be up to them as well, clearly if they are the only ones who feel it is cheesy it shouldn't be implemented, but I noticed this flaw in the game when playing the demo, I do not know how bad it is, ow how bad it is in the real game, but its a potential problem, and I want to know if it is possible to clear it up before the first tournament so the tournament is not ruined by such tactics

Coke, I think warm up tournaments should show us a lot. There are 4 tournaments with 32 spots in right now in Xbox, could be even more....so there will be plenty of competitive situations where one would want to gain advantage....this should lit up the forum with anything even remotely cheesy.

Ok, I trust you.
Sorry about sounding too keen, but I was not around at the start of TS3 when progressive steps were made about banning shots, I was really born into a ITST where there was lots of debate, and general consensus that a shot was cheesy, but never really saw them being banned.
In case it looks like it, I'm not trying to undermine ITST management by saying this as I sincerely trust that they will take the necessary steps to ensure fun fair gaming.

Arghh...you are attempting a very sophisticated judgment in banning any shot....you're essentially saying you know how to design the game better than the people who designed the game...you better really be right :)

I think you need to come up with a definition of (argh I hate this word) 'cheesy' first. If you can't come up with anything that actually makes logical sense (and "something that gives an unfair advantage" does not work because that is super-vague) then it doesn't exist. And if it doesn't exist then let's freaking stop talking about it because it is counter-productive to enjoying and advancing in a game.
