Very cool, but I'm beginning to worry the developers overused crazy ass lob saves, etc. Yeah, they're cool when they happen in real tennis, but they don't happen that often. They seem to happen a lot in TS4.

Not talking about the lobs, but the scrambling lob saves - tweeners, half tweeners, quarter tweeners, one eighth tweeners, etc.

in fact the whole drop shot lob combo is too easy to pull off .
I can see this becoming a systematic way of ending a long rally ...
Hope all of this has been tweaked in the retail version.

Don't worry it's still a Game.

It's good that you have enough Option to pass and lob the Netattacker and it's also good that you have Chances to react to such a Lob with a few Trickshots and different Smashes. It's fun.

is it just me?

Or do u guys never miss a drop shot.

Like Puttu puttuu in your match u hit one late and even to soon still get over the net..

My drop shot when i hit good, sometimes dont get over the net.
And must say. a to late drop shot i never got over the net.

Maybe u just hit the drop shot and dont aim any where thats why your to late and to soon got over.. i dont know.. just funny they get over the net. now when i try many times a good hit dont get over :?

yeah that is my point ...

In the demo chaining a string of drop shots is way too simple ,i can see many guys on the world tour using that shot over and over again...

Do you guys remember playing Nygmatik on TS3 ?

True. But, AI doesn't take advantage of drop-shots. A simple re-drop, or a slice should kill the point. Instead, AI settles for a very comfortable short top spin that puts the ball comfortable enough for you to hit a lob.

It is very realistic really. Best play on a good the drop shot is an angled re-drop, on a bad drop shot is a put-away deep or wrong foot safe ball.

AI simply sucks at real-life tactics.

Yeah agree.. sure maybe u can get drop shots in everytime if u dont try to aim it to be short or angled.. but if u try do thoose things.. the drop shots gonna get hard to get in.. even a good hit sometimes dont get over the net.. kinda like it :D

You have nothing to fear, I can assure you what you did will not work on a human. After playing with my brother, playing with the cpu is just too boring. So predictable and easy. Drop shots are harder to pull on humans, because of the different shots they give. They can also re-drop you, or, if they get to it quickly, can win the point with a deep hard to return slice/hard/topspin, angle you off, or wrong foot. The game is actually very slow paced vs CPU. Lol, it feels like VT at times vs a human, but with more realism.

What about unforced errors? Do balls go out versus a human ?
