I agree, in very hard the CPU seams to be very easy..
But if you try a doubles match, it is more difficult

playing exhibition matches i find the very hard difficulty quite easy. Now i am playing career and im on my first grand slam (RG). I want to win it on very hard to unlock expert mode. Well... the cpu is very hard to beat on very hard in career mode. Maybe it is because i use a created player (and he sucks but cant change it now during career) but the challenge is definitely there! Cant wait to try expert mode.

Lol this thread awesome I didn't know sinna was a douche. I am disapointed, also drop shots on serve I wouldn't call that cheese at all it hard to pull of consistently AND for your opponent to be too slow to figure out solution. Hard shot + susceptible to counter = no cheese.

Also stop hiding behind opinions . Sometimes people are just wrong.

yeah it is far too easy, i imagine there will be no difference between very hard and expert mode aswell

i was one of those complaining about how easy is very hard, but as i said when you play a grand slam in very hard mode in career the AI is much more deadly! So i guess the expert mode should be at least as hard as that.
Im in the SF of my first grand slam in career mode in very hard and although i breezed through to get there (never losing a single game) i had a hard time going to semi final. 2 matches to go before unlocking expert mode... next opponent is rafa and it'll be quite a challenge, in GS the AI hit the line left and right 90% of the time with power shot! Thats a bit cheesy but we asked for competition offline then here it is.

Im pretty sure the AI is a level higher during Grand Slam finals. I was playing the career on normal to go through it quicker and am sure the WTF Final was on hard.

So i guess if you play the career on very hard the GS finals are elite level.

Played djokovic in us open final in expert difficulty and i thought i was playing an itst match final! Won 3-1, 1-3, 10-8

He is the one to beat in career mode, after is nadal and murray in my opinion. Also gilles simon gives you competion

Is it just me or is Murray a pain in the arse to play on Very Hard?

Had to use nadal to beat him. Won 3-6(only recently bought the game, and played without any help. Turned only the timing indicator - good, too soon etc - on afer this set) 6-2 6-2
