People in the UK want someone like nadal or federer to come along, and arent happy with a murray, even though those players are rare as hen's teeth.

I'm gonna make a henman in career mode :P

Too true. Henman had a fantastic career. Us Brits sometimes expect too much. Henman wasnt the most naturally talented player, but made the absolute most of what he had. There are plenty of players who could learn a lot from Tiger Tim.

I'll look forward to playing your Henman :)

REVIEW: 3/5 stars.

Not to be taken too seriously, given the source. Plus, it appears they took a star away for no motion control (even though it is supported for PS3).

"Verdict
Pretty much the same as Top Spin 4, but a little bit more dull."

Bad incomplete review anyway.

There is, as in always the case, a big difference in reviewers that actually play/love tennis themselves and reviewers that have absolutely no passion for the sport. The real tennisplayers will rate good sportsgames much higher than reviewers who are just gamers and have no passion for the sport. That's why I think reviews of sportsgames should always be done by reviewers that actually play/love the sport. Unfortunately that's seldomly the case.
If I had to review a cricket or rugby game I would probably give a way too low grade as I just don't feel these sports.

ok i am no mathematician, but how does:-

Graphics:
7.8/10
Sound:
8.3/10
Gameplay:
7.1/10
Longevity:
6.2/10
Multiplayer:
8.2/10

equal 6.0 overall? surely its somewhere in the 7's on average.

Overall 8.5/10 :tu

"I can’t say it enough, this game is really good IF you are a tennis fan, don’t buy it if you aren’t."

Yep, great bit of advice, that.

Wow. One of the worst reviews I have ever read. How do these guys land their jobs??

Also, seems a lot of (too much) attention, again, is being paid to the Kinect/Move.

"While some tennis simulations are renowned for trying out new things (such as Virtua Tennis 4 with its Kinect control method), Top Spin 4 will not go down in history as being one of those games."
