Nothing wrong with being honest.

So, if Ibooman is ok with a rematch, then a rematch it will be. Otherwise, the result will stand.

I love cheese on my pizza, but not in my Top Spin matches, or in my pants after a hard day's work.

More than happy to have a rematch. At least it would be fair this time.

I think that a rematch is kind of silly too, but to each his own I guess....

If you read the OPs post vs.the opponent's post, its clear that the OP thinks that "tramline serving" is serving outwide, not that the opponent was standing at the tramline and serving.

The opponent admitted to being a step or two off dead center from his backhand side. That's DEFINITELY not "tramline serving every serve" like the OP claimed.

One thing I've noticed is people making this confusion, but now they're being rewarded for it?

Also, if you use a fast character and play 4 feet behind the baseline you should expect to get drop shot every time, and keeping the drop shot ruling the same ESPECIALLY since the update made drop shots more risky, doesn't seem right either.

Making him replay the match is kinda unfair.

Doesn't look that way to me.

Ibooman wrote:No word of a lie he cheesed served the entire match, not just a couple of steps, but full blown tram line serving.

The drop shots had very little to do with letting them replay, but:

It is the cheesiest style of play on here if you ask me, requiring no skill whatsoever aside from bashing buttons at the net with high volley stats.

It doesn't sound like a case of "if you use a fast character and play 4 feet behind the baseline".

I have a feeling that both players were annoyed by each other's style, and there probably was some cheese, maybe from both sides of the net. Both players agreed to a rematch, and if that will smooth things over, I see nothing unfair about that.

Has anyone else come to the conclusion that its considered "cheesy" if you serve well and win alot of points through it on this game, although in this case i understand you might have a genuine complaint for some of these points as your opponent was honest in admitting this even if he was unaware of such rules.

Its just annoying as no1 complains when someone creates a character that is so fast they get everything back even when its unrealistic as this in its own right, could be considered "cheesy" or taking advantage of the games deficencies.

sorry this is just one of my pet hates on this game and every one and again i need to get it out of my system haha.

OK, ibooman is actually having a laugh! Just tried to play our game and after all his talk of people being cheesy he has switched his player from a serve and volley player the last time we played to a 91 serve and 100 power?! I can't actually believe it!

I'm off out now and I don't intend on playing or even contacting him again, at least not while he doesn't have the same player as last time, surely that is part of the idea of a rematch, that we each have the same players as last time?!

After all his talk of people cheating and lack of enjoyment, ironically he has made me stop enjoying the tour as much as I was, I hope I never have to play him again to be honest, the bloke is completely unreasonable.

Just out of interest didn't you say my last player was cheesy? Now I play with a baseliner and now your saying I can't do that lol fact is you just backed out of the match 5 times!!! When I was 2-0 up!! The match has been resolved, you wasn't big enough to play the rematch, end of story. Good luck with your future matches, I would have to agree that I hope we dont meet again!

Either my Xbox or the servers were playing up, its happened before where the game freezes on certain points and I have to wait a few hours for it to sort itself out, even if it was working to be honest I would not have lasted very long, you can have your win if you are that desperate for it, I am past caring really.

That's not the point though is it, the reason you changed your player is because you knew I'd figured out how to beat the other one and thought he wasn't good enough.

You can't talk about cheesy players and high serve stats when you are the one with the ridiculous power stats, not even sure if stats like that are allowed are they?

Correct. A rematch means you both use the same characters.

This match needs to be completed, today.
