Power is important, I don't know why guys who use powder-puff characters think they should be able to do anything but sprint around and throw up moonballs... I don't know it's not my problem I don't let silly things like this really bother me I just concentrate on how I'm playing

jayl0ve wrote:It's not an exploit though, it's something that's in the game and isn't hidden or anything...BOOM it's right there in your face. Something you have to deal with..not something you pretend is 'invalid' so you don't have to learn to counter it.
It's like 'tick throwing' (making your opponent block something then immediately throwing them) in Street Fighter games. Lots of guys out there, within their own little 'cliques', make up these imaginary rules where tick throws are completely illegal because they are somehow 'unfair' or 'cheating' even. So basically what they're playing is a different version of Street Fighter from everybody else...and when they come across somebody who is playing the real version of SF2 that Capcom made, and who uses every/any strategy within the programming of the game to win (including tick throws), they can just say "Oh that guy was just a cheap player I would have won if the didn't do ____". It's really an ancient (in video game terms) 'problem' we're talking about here and one that's not at all exclusive to TS games and wide slice serves
anyways I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this except that this whole 'wide slice serve' deal reminds me of that

i'm not moaning until i will win everything...i'm just saying that winning a game because you knew how to use exploits the best is just cheap. And that is for everything thats out there. Thats why we hate footballplayers that claim to be fouled without actually been fouled just to get a free penalty kick.
It is in the game so it is fair....yeah sure...

I'm gonna stop here... 'cause you're getting on my nerves and I don't want to be rude.
You're the selfish one here. Just open your mind man. There is a lot of differents playing style. Why should I play yours only for counter a game flaw?
Is tennis only about power and attack ?![]()
Anyway, have a good day.
jayl0ve wrote:I agree that wide slice serves that drag you out wide are NO FUN to deal with, in fact I totally hate them! There I said it! But I don't think they're 'bad' or an 'exploit' or anything I think it's just a simple fact of life for a tennis player! It's something you always have to keep an eye out for...if somebody is using this every point...they're really not using it that intelligently and it's more your problem that they're succeeding with it. If you use it sparingly and on big points (go ahead just shoot me), it is soooo much more effective, they will likely not even get a racquet on it....
Lots of former world #1's have had totally nasty wide slice serves...McEnroe and Sampras come to mind. More McEnroe though...watch some of his old matches and you will see he hit some super 'cheesy' serves in his day

You were just saying I'm a mourner and that because I'm a bad looser who, in top of that, is selfish and self-centred.
