Just want to mention, the wrong foot animation from a standing still position is a Glitch - not a mistake. You can clearly see it. You slightly press one direction, they guy doesn't move, then you press the opposite direction and the buy goes into a "bust a move" dance and the wrong-foot animation triggers. But you were not moving into any direction so it shouldn't trigger really.

There is a way to over come it, and that is to be very patient and basically not press any direction before the ball clearly on its way back over the net. Then you can move.

one other mistake i made often in past .
by the inside/out shot .
when i will play a I/O forehand ,than my player steps arround and will play a backhand I/O . than i can´t hit the ball what is ending in a easy point for my opponent . this looks so stupid crazy

this is something i already mentioned and which is my biggest gripe with the gameplay. It also gets on my nerve when i win point because my opponent had the same problem, no glory. I hope this is a glitch that can be fixed with a patch... on the other hand i also expressed my fear of this glitch beeing the last thing that prevent us from having 100 shots rallies...

FYI - this is one of the main issues on the "to fix" list sent to 2K. So they will let us know what can be done.

BTW - why we haven't played yet? :)

maybe because you are affraid?
hehe i am by no means any hard competition for now. I am still trying things. I played Norberto again yesterday with my Gonzalez (offensive baseliner of course, with around 85 power to try to stop Terminator) and lost 6-4 and 6-3. This guy doesnt need triggers for sure  but it was fun.
I am looking forward for a nice match next time i catch you online. :)

ps: so you already sent "the list"? or is it something that you "constantly" send them remarks and observations about things to fix? Did they mention anything about those fixes for now? Oh and thanks by the way!

The list was submitted today. As long as 2K asks for it, we will keep feeding them the info. In an organized manner of course. The list for the first patch is complete, based on members concerns expressed in on the forum.

Will we need to make another? ...we will only know after the patch. :)

Yeah when that happens push the down and the ball will go in the net...

Thanks, haha! (: Now no more weak serves!
Ryan Harrison - Defensive Baseliner - 0/8/12
Kei Nishikori - Offensive Baseliner - 0/12/8
Robin Soderling - Strong Offensive Baseline - 0/16/4

Calling it now; Kei Nishikori = Top Ten in less than 3 years.

Any highlights from the list? Been playing now for a couple of days and I do feel the groundstrokes are overpowered, especially when using pros offline (very hard difficulty) and online in 2k open mode. Anyone share that thought?

yay great news! I am also releaved that 2k "seems" to care about doing things right. That's a good sign.
Many thanks to you Djarvik and to whoever worked on the list and made it possible.

ps: ok it looks like my girlfriend is falling asleep on the sofa, it's time to conquer back the living room and turn on the xbox360

I am still pretty much in "TS3" mode  Sometimes I press lt by mistake thinking I can do a control risk shot but of course my player just kinda dances around the ball looking to hit an inside-out shot.
I find myself still pressing lb a lot when running side to side even though it has no effect in TS4 but I am just so used to doing it now at this stage, lol.

And the one that annoys me the most is if I have an easy short ball put-away, instead of simply smacking it down the line for a winner, my player hits a weak shot so that my opponent has time to recover and hits a cross-court passing shot winner as a result. This has happened countless times now.

Nah bogus, sorry to hear bout that, really sucks every time that happens, it's the reason I now only play on my PS3.

I can't tell you how many times I've mis-timed that shot as well. Last night was especially bad for me, controller went 'walkabout' after I did that for the umpteenth time en route to yet another loss from a promising position.

I agree that sitters can be the hardest to time, but my biggest 'mistake' would have to be when I get pulled way off the court to one direction, I tend to try and hit a cross court control shot back and wrong foot the computer, but they're always right there wating to hit it down the line screamer leaving me with no chance. If I hit a flat control shot down the line, I tend to leave myself with a slightly better chance though this still doesn't always work.. a second mistake is when I play serve-volleyers, I almost always initially try passing them on the service return with a flat hard shot, but in reality, topspin is way more effective, as it lands much closer to the lines.
