hm. MAYBE that contributed then, lol. They certainly put in the framework for DLC, the option of 'pick downloaded character' is still there

There even was some screenshots (regarding the dashboard update to the 360 that year) that showed what the DLC would have been. Classic courts was one of them if I remember correctly.

It was only screens of new functions for the 360. One if them showed how the marketplace would look and one of the game add ons listed was TS3 dlc named "Classic courts" or something like it.
