Ranking points award consistency. She is one of the most consistent players on the WTA tour ever. Not to mention her serve and backhand are actual weapons for her.

The game is changing now and it's interesting to see who's gonna emerge on the top of the women's game. I feel Petkovic, Kvitova, Kanepi, among others are real favorites to be grand slam contenders. But for now the WTA can relish the days of multiple slam winners in the quarterfinals and semis...
