played my second round against brazegoesmoo , I don't know exactly why, but one of the funniest match I have played... I have played with my offensive baseliner, he played with an allrounder, nice rallyes and some points played to the net. With the new patch it's more difficult to make points against fast players. I'm thinking to try a serve and volley player

Funniest? lol Well I had fun, but yeah, you killed me.

I found that I lost control of rallies pretty early unless I hit perfect on each of my shots. I may have to tweak my character.

Played against Lucagiaco today, by far the most enjoyable match i've played here on the site. I played with DHH/VSA and he with TI/PS. It was very nice to play without a caracter that has monster defense. Was a close match, we both had to work hard to hold our serves and there were a lot of deuce games. I managed to break him once at 5-4 to win the set immediately. In second set Luca broke me first to 3-4 but then i won three in a row and won the match. Next match against Retos so i'm curious how that match will develop.

Our caracters were:

FH BH SE VO PW ST SP RE
74 64 70 60 75 71 63 63 --> Diesel Hard Hitter and Volley shot artist
79 79 66 39 77 83 65 47 --> Topspin Invasion and Poisoned slices

Final match stats were:

75% 1ste serve 83%
62% Win 1st 55%
89% Win 2nd 57
0 Aces 0
1 Double F 0
61 Winners 61
3 UE 12
3/4 Break PW 1/5
42/58 Net PW 0/3
78 Total PW 66

Hi all,

After playing two games without TI/MD, I have to say that I have enjoyed more of TS4. Matches are much more even and in my opinion they are more realistic. I miss risk shoots but not everything can be perfect. I believe that it would be a success to extend this norm to all the tournaments.

i think this would be better for a sim tour and max out the stats to 90 or maybe 85.

That would make the majority happy.

There wasn't much I could do. Couldn't keep up with him in rallies, and wasn't strong enough to hit through him.
After the first set I realized staying at the baseline was a losing game, so I tried to mix in a few volleys, and drop shots (which were dangerous cause he could get to them), hence the 2 games I luckily held.

Ok not that I care, cuz I'm like the last guy to give a s**t about stuff like this, but one can't help but notice he is using a much superior, easier to use character than yours :lol:

I really think that a 90 cap and banning the chinese lady is the best way to go, it will make ts4 more fun, we should make a sim tour./...

Lets try to finish this test tournament. I have already learned a lot from it. We may need a few more....it is a process. But we will get there.

Try to relax in the meantime and do what I have suggested in another thread, ask your opponent if he prefers the TSI/MD match or non-TSI/MD. And play accordingly.

hey Robin you won 42/58 points how many of those were serve volley attempts considering you only have 60 in volley or does the volley shot artist help that much

so i just want to apologize for not responding earlier but i just didn't appreciate the way Hollaitzmike was talking about me or the match we played. everything i wanted to say was put across alot better by baghdad in his post a couple of pages back (well said). only thing i will add is that personally, i find mikes attitude disgusting. granted, this isn't the REAL ATP Tour, but as the #1 ranked player you have a few responsibilities when it comes to the way you display yourself to your opponents...and at the moment you are failing at that. Where's Noberto? LOL!

The only way to play in a balanced way is eliminate the coach and fix player with max 80 in one voice and max 75 all the rest.
Now it's an arcade game and if you want an arcade game play to virtua tennis. See all players play like robot with regular deep ball on the line and diagonal close cross is no sense.

What do you think about it?

P.S. So goodbye to OUIMR BERSON, BKRISTIAN, TOPHEE150175 etc etc!!!

Good idea. I just made myself a TI/MD player. I called him Cheap Gay.

Darth Luisito beat me down 62 63. I had stats as posted earlier he had about 10'points more on the wings and had drop
Shot artist and smell of blood.

First set pretty boring he was able to hit a lot of cross winners and broke twice. In the second things were more interesting but the biggest issue was in could not return his serve even though for the most part it was mid pace I just could not get he return to go anywhere. It definitely seems a flaw that regardless of the stats quicker serves can be returned easier and closer to the lines than a slow one, in my experience anyway.

In the second he took to just chipping all his returns back up the middle, which is perfectly fine and I had to make the second shot count or point over. He broke once and that was that. Good match overall.
