Hey guys I'm back. lol, some of you probably remember me for the controversial thread I created when I first joined this site.

I quit TS3 not too long after playing it for a while cause a counter-puncher couldn't work in TS3. Stamina didn't seem to play a role in TS3 at all, and my 85 speed was useless when every ball was zooming across the court. They say stamina plays a big role in TS4, I really hope so cause I love to wear my opponent down and pounce on them when they can't move anymore.

I'm really looking forward to TS4. The coaches idea, imo, is brilliant. Now you can really specialize in a certain playstyle with them. It also adds a level of uniqueness since they each give different abilities.
Also, with the coaches you can keep the character cap low, and use the coaches as extras to further improve your character in a certain playstyle. This means that you won't have a big server, lengendary baseliner, who also just happens to be speedy, because you wont have enough leveling up points to spend. You're going to have to make sacrifices now.

I like how you can't individually choose what you want to upgrade anymore. You are forced to specialize in a certain style of play and not create a "perfect" character that destroys everyother style

I really hope TS4 turns out well. I would love to see diversity. This will make things interesting and I would finally join the tour. I don't want to be forced to have to use 1 setup just to stand a chance.

Also, assuming I get TS4 (I'll have to wait for the demo to come out to decide), I would like to add all those that I had on my list back again, if you guys don't mind that is. Sorry, I deleted you guys after I got demoralized cause my counter-punch like character couldn't work in TS3.

I agree with you and good to see you are back. Let's hope TS4 becomes THE Game. I agree especially with the perfect Character and 1 Setup Point. It would be the biggest Step forward If the Styles are really balanced this Time and not everybody has to create one special Setup to be competitive.

The guy narrating clearly does not follow tennis.
He has no idea what he's talking about as far as terminology. Poor choice for a narrator, but it was cool to see the game in action.

Edit - and narrator has apparently never played TS3? He thought the facial sculptor was new for ts4.

Way, way, way too early to tell, but yeah, there were a number of slice winners in the Agassi/Djoko match.

In the first video, I noticed something about the rally Agassi and Djokovic had starting at 3.23. Same thing at 5.31. If you notice Agassi's stamina was depleting really quickly, and the rally wasn't even intense. That means a counter-puncher might actually work in this, depending on how important speed and stamina are.
Now I can't wait.

Yeah it makes me thinking a lil bit. Not only that these Slices were winners, but it seems that a full powered Slice has more Power than a full powered normal stroke. The Slice seems to be to fast. I hope this doesn't ruin the Game because this looks a lil bit fake and unrealistic. But 2K can't be so dumb to ruin the Game with such a simple thing? I mean in real Tennismatches Slicewinners are so good like non existing.

Doubles looked amazing

game overal looks good only worry so far is the slice shot i hope he was playing a demo version and they fixed that.

hopefuly this game will be as active as VT3 that is by far the most active tennis game , even right now its more active then TS2 and TS3 combined

the doubles did look better, and more dynamic. I hated doubles in TS3 because the movement of the players was limited and slower.
