What I loved most about TopSpin 3 is that you came to know players for their style of play. There was real depth and variation in that ts3 itst tour. There was also a sense of players' games naturally developing over time which was nice....made it feel that little bit extra realistic.
Of course, it wasn't without flaws but it was as near to perfect a tennis game that I have played.

The controlshot patch was released between 15-20 september 2011 I think, just after (or at the end of) the US Open.

Might be true. But this is also (perhaps less) the chase with ts4. Everyone has different styles, I look at sh0Case, Violin, Ali, Obskur, Fifa tee, they all play differently, and all on a high level. Problem is alot of ppl like you probably stopped playing ts4 a long time ago so might not be aware of this.
