1. Will this suggestion lead to a balanced tour or not? A tour in which IR/MD and TI/MD are allowed? I'm not sure if I want this.

Or do ITST's classical rules for the regular TS 4 tour still apply?
2. Maybe there are some loopholes you haven't considered yet and people may come up with overpowered setups
relative to these rules?
3. Surely stats play an important role regarding overpowered setups, but in some cases it is more about the skills the coach offers: IR/CPS for example. Rabari is such a popular coach because of the skills, I think. Take away IR from him and I don't think he'd be considered overpowered.
As you said: All this requires testing. Even more testing is needed than for the SIM Tour, because there are many more possible match-ups.
Thank you for a very good post and I wish everyone could follow your example in explaining your statements and having very relevant questions!
1. I believe that this suggestion will lead to a more balanced tour
because many of the very strong players like Welch, Slavina, Rabari, Babb etc, will mostly be banned from the tour. These players are quite clearly imo put into the game just to be able to have an insane attribute. All though this is fun in a game, I don't think it is appropriate to have such insane strengths in any player in this otherwise nearly perfect online initiative to follow the real tennis tour.
When it comes to the already banned coaches. I really think that everyone is happy having those out of the way. So I think it's best to not change the preexisting rules.
All though I think that maybe these coach skills may be used if used with a silver coach. This is just a though I came up with now. Anyone have any thoughts about it?
2. There very well may be some loopholes yes, but I can't imagine that there are any that will be very overpowered if we all go together and use our knowledge and find better exceptions for example Babb and Rabari which I still believe can be a bit overpowered with this suggestion.
If people can find really overpowered builds I figure we will quickly find out about this and start discussions how to deal with it.
3. This is a very good question in my opinion. Thank you for asking.
The answer is maybe suprisingly to some around here, yes. There is differences in the coaches skills so there many things to consider here. I have not yet gone that deeply into the coach calculator as to get a overall view of the 7-8 builds that may have stronger coach skills than the rest. But just to answer quickly to Rabari. If he plays against a DB, I don't think his crushing passing shot will be the big difference through the match. What is more likely will be the big difference is if he is used with the 1-18-1 build. Which would give him a 81 forehand/backhand, 88 serve, 90 power and 77 stamina. This build will effectively be banned as it contains more than two red attributes. Just to give you an example right away.
I'm going to go much more deeply into all the exception coaches in a couple of days. Depends on how my form is. I would really appreciate a involvement from some of the experienced players to go through the coach calculator too, looking for new ideas and suggestions. Would have been great to add someone on MSN to chat more quickly while looking through the calculator.
I think the testing can be a part of the tour. I don't think it will favor anyone as it will be a new experience to everyone. Hopefully there will be more coaches and builds used in the tour.
