No Losses

Hi all I beat that guy Dani in second place - in RG semi-final.
and yet now it says he hasn't received a loss. At the end he quit not sure if he pulled the cord or whatever but he must know a way to avoid getting the loss.. doesn't bother me much just wondering if anyone else knows of what he could have done?

He hadn't reported the match as a loss ?
