ok Tombs, first masters tourney in Shanghai, drew #1-Federer in the QF and won 4/2 (granted my player is level 15...). I set the play to Top Spin rules so one set 3 games is all for the masters.

SF I play Murray and Final is either Djoko or Nadal... I'm guessing Nadal. Hope I get another level before then...

Was probably leve 18 last time I faced a pro..

But I'm playing best-of-3, with supertiebreak as 3rd set.

Gotta be kidding, lost to Wawrinka 3-1 3-4 (5) 8-10. Was actually down 5-9 in supertiebreak, so it's not like I almost took that one. But he's a pain in the ass to play as a S&V. Diesel Returner and Crushing Passing Shot... Couldn't even hit a single first volley properly with them returns landing short and low all the time, unless I stayed back. They'd land right in the corner on those occasions...

Am I the only one who did Career on very easy to unlock the fast player builder?

So far I am a year and a bit in and have no losses to date. I've even played a few masters events on normal/hard for coach skills ha

But there's a good chance I'll play it properly some other time

Hey Tombs any updates on your career progress?

In my guy's second year I got to #6 in the world and am currently playin the ATP World Tour Finals... I beat Djoko (4/2 3/1) and Nadal (4/3 2/4 10/5 talk about a nail-biter!!) in the Round Robin for my group. Next I play Simon. It's on Very Hard, and I'm serve & volleying a lot (mostly because of my coaches ).

I want to see if I can get him to win two Grand Slams in his next year.

He's a pain to play as an All-Rounder! I lost to him too but it wasn't close he shut me out.

Went a break down in 2nd set, got it back. Fought off three matchpoints in tiebreak, wasted 2 setpoints myself. Somehow I couldn't take a point of Murray's serve anymore in the tiebreaks, despite getting into his games most of the time.

I'm at the end of my second year. My player is lvl 18, ranked somwhere between 40-50, status rising star. I guess tht's the price I pay for playing real rules on very hard.

Used to play the career on very hard real tennis...
But my game data also got erased... now i'm playing on normal with the super-tie breaks. Got my player on lvl 15 already after 2 hours play-time.
Though i do like the career more on very hard and real tennis rules.
Used to win all the tournaments, also the masters.
It's quite though, but i want to unlock expert mode so i can start playing on the real though level .

I accepted an invite to play my warm-up tournament match.

I just accepted a match to play the first match in the ITST tournaments and after the match I went to the WT and noticed that both my male and female players were not entered there. I reset the game but they were still gone so I checked what other data got erased. Apparently my created players and their status in career mode remained intact but everything else, the online data and the unlockable stuff data all got erased. Has anyone else had this weird problem? Maybe there's a bug with accepting match invitations?

do not accept invites when the game is loading or accessing the hard drive

this will cause all data to be lost
