If I hit a flat control shot down the line, I tend to leave myself with a slightly better chance though this still doesn't always work.. a second mistake is when I play serve-volleyers, I almost always initially try passing them on the service return with a flat hard shot, but in reality, topspin is way more effective, as it lands much closer to the lines.
lol DITTO to all of that!! And call me crazy, but if you are pulled way off the court, does pressing the "inside-out toggle" button make your player run faster? I pressed that button instead of the "reposition fast/run to net" button and my guy got to some shots that were unreachable before.
Anyways, I tend to guess too much on rallies. Even with my baseline controller player, who has 95 speed, I'd guess and get wrong-footed... and occasionally get the wrong foot glitch Al. (SUCKS!!!!
