Hm, from what I've experienced there are different speeds, they just seem random......

But yes, there definitely is less control in the speed.

Yeah, that was my main point. There are different speeds, but you don't seem to have any control over it.

The plus side is that you don't have to slam the stick so hard to hit the highest speed - which should keep me from destroying so many controllers. You can move the stick really slow now, and still hit the ball hard.
