Has anybody some information of the double mode? What about the world tour mode? Can you play doubles in this mode? Would be nice if 4 players of 4 different location could play a double with each other. What do you think about playing doubles? I think there will be some nice competition and very exciting games in this mode.

Hm yeah the Doublemode was always a Topic in TS4. What I know is that 4 Consoledoubles I mean from 4 different Locations are not possible.
But there are Onlinemodes where you can play with a Doublepartner on one Console against two other Guys which playing on one Console.

2K said 4 Consoledoubles would bring to much Trouble because of Lag.
Even Virtua Tennis 3 had this Possibility I believe them what they say because I think they would love it to give us the same Possibility but can't do it because of some Problems.

I still haven't heard whether or not there will be a ranking system for 2 console doubles. I would hope for at least this much. Top Spin 1 had it and it was awesome.

I never could quite understand how lag is such an issue for these guys, especially with respect to this mode. I play a few games online. Some games like NHL 11, allow you to have a created team, all filled with created players playing against one another online. That's a potential of 6 people all doing independent things all over the place on each team. Perhaps there aren't quite as many character motions in NHL, but come on... 12 people! I think Top Spin is definitely the best next Gen tennis game I've ever played but to me that would be a mode that would definitely take it to the next level.

Yeah I was gonna post the same thing...My cousin and I were hoping we could play doubles as a team on 2 consoles so it's kind of dissapointing...And yea, I don't know if I buy the lag thing cause I we play 6v6 in NHL which is 12 seperate consoles.
