Finally got to play Baghdad kebab earlier on. It was a very evenly contested match  He won 6-3 3-6 7-6. I was disappointed that I seemed to make silly errors at key moments in the match but that is tennis  He is a very solid all-rounder though. Definitely looking forward to a rematch.

Played Joesixtoe shortly afterwards and he won 6-3 6-3. I was really frustrated through out this one as I wasted so many break point chances. I believe I 0-40 on joe's serve at one stage but of course didn't convert

well....i played with my sim-pro....and he played with his regular sampras....but, it does not make difference to me....his 90-40 setup sampras is basically the same if he would have played me with his sim-pro....i play my sim-pro guy by every ITST match now...even against stacked 90 guys....it doesnt make a difference to me...he said he would play me with his sim-pro guy to make it fair next time...but, i told him it really doesnt make a difference to me....i feel like i can beat anyone with my sim-pro guy

It was by far the best you returned against me. You didn't go for broke, you just played smart returns. And your risk in the rallies on your own serve was very consistent. It cost you in the end, but I think it would cost you to not try them as well. It came down to making the shot at the right moment, the way tennis is supposed to be.

ditto---i missed about 3 shots that absolutely killed me...and every passing shot i tried going down the line with my fh---two in particular you hit those volleys--you are definitely the only one who could put those away--against anyone else i would have passed them for sure.

My new Sampras hits those better than my old one. I think they just look cool: stretched out, on the run, and knifing the volley to the open court off a well struck passing shot. 8)

I just switched to 80 about a week ago. I had used 90 until now. Since that switch is working so well, I have to rethink my sim stats. But most likely it would be:

Forehand 75
Backhand 60
Serve 90
Return 50
Volley 80
Power 75
Speed 79
Stamina 51

Oh, and don't worry. Those volleys were complete guesses. If you had gone the other direction, you'd have passed me.

i think that set-up should work well....i know, but i have to think so fast when you hit the volley to my fh thats all i think about is hitting a double trigger risk shot....i notice your bh volleys are a tad better than your fh volleys....and u mix the volley location really well...you go down the line sometimes and then you will cross court it...a lot of other s/v just hit the volleys to the same spot everytime and i eventually catch on...but, you always keep me guessing

Most people just use the short volley. It can be tough to run down, but SO easy to pass off of.

Yes Mack you have just joined my select few list of players who I really enjoy playing and who give me a brilliant match (See below as a new addition...)

Ghost LD - v regular play
Rae1980 - regular play
Near147 - v regular play
Djvarik - semi regular
GoaMasterMDMA - regular play
Nipspot/Anvil - semi regular
Chederer - not played you in ages!! Where you hiding?
Mack2300 8) - regular sparing partner? TBA

Our match was brilliant, you really stepped it up in the second set, i thought i was gonna have you beat in 2 sets. Alot of people say they seem to make errors against me (as u did in your msg) and this is because i don't hit many winners (usually a third of my opponents - the decent players like) and although make less than 5 unforced errors!!

So basically i keep it in play and feel i can defend well and this seems to push my opponents into errors.

To be honest i would rather be hitting more winners but i ain't quite got the hang of hitting RT risk consistently and keeping the ball inside the lines.
