You gotta use high speed, stamina, fh, and bh. Something like this:

people will abuse the speed because on ps3 you can have 55 speed and still move quite well.

Thats what i should use, but i wanted to try to play a realistic hewitt, and there is no way that his backhand is 90

I would disagree a bit with Rob on counter puncher setup. Most of them are good, solid returners, they make you play each ball and it is hard to ace them.

So here is my suggestion for counter puncher:

FH 85
BH 75
Serve 50
Return 85
Volley 50
Power 65
Speed 80
Stamina 70

Return to opponent weaker side most times. Mix in a little bit of risk.

Thats a good counter puncher setup but with evrybody being able to retrunt with 50, you would most likely get broken a lot

2 reasons I don't agree:

Speed should be 90. If your weapon is going to be getting everything back, you need max speed.

I think 65 power and 50 serve will get attacked way too much.

@Coolhand Texas
Keep in mind, this is a SIM, so there will be a weaker wing to serve to, so risk returning will be harder and will not be as hard. I will show you tonight

@Rob
See above. Yes the serve will be a liability, but your asset is the returns. I am sure someone like Chederer, Coolhandtexas, Swifty ( a number of others too) will do just fine with these setups. Just need to be smart about your serve and pressure on returns. As for speed. 80 is enough. It is funny how the best defenders now in 40-90 all use 80 or below  Combined with 70 stamina I am confident it is enough.

If your weapon is going to be getting everything back, you need max speed.

This is a "pusher" setup. A counter puncher does just that - "counter punching". Get the rally going and wait for the opening, work the rally, vary the depth of the ball, spin.

Well, both setups are effective really.

Can we still use a pro?

Yes.

For this tournament we can still use the Pro. But keep in mind, the tournament was designed to try different "setups". So I suggest do try.

If the SIM tour comes, it is still undecided if we will allow Pros. Right now, it is testing ground....no points win or lose....so I recommend to everyone to do just that, test.

actually dude...hewitt probably does deserve 90 on bh; he just lacks power---he has one of the best backhands of ALL TIMES!!!

power set up

fh79 vol50
bh69 pwr90
srv60 spd90
ret50 stm72....thats just an example---you could alter the fh and bh its just one wing has a max of 69 and the other has a max of 79...does this help you out?

or you could use lower speed and more serve like this

fh79 vol50
bh69 pwr90
srv77 spd75
ret50 stm70---------i think this is more of a power set up

dude....create a player...its not that difficult its just restrictions on fh bh pwr...out of the 3 of those one must be a max of 90 and the others a max of 79 and 69
