Decided to give the new sim tour idea a go today and played Chederer. I won 7-6, 6-3. This was probably the most realistic tennis i have played. My setup did not have 1 90 in it, so i was forced to play his weakness and try to outlast him.

I think this tour could work, but im not sure about pro players?

I haven´t read the rules yet, is allowed to use the pros or what?, It wouldn´t be fair, Borg or Federer have more than 70.

Remember, this is just to test the rules. The pros with over 70 may or may not have an advantage - yes they have more points overall, but they are very balanced. You can still stack your custom players a bit so they are faster, serve better, etc. I think the game designers did a good job of making all the pros balanced, so I don't think it'll be unfair to use any of them.

It's also why I think it's important for the match reports to describe the players stats, or say which pro was used.

I'm excited by this Sim tourney. The rules look great. One exception, why let us use the TS3 pros..?? :?? This unbalances the whole character setup, unnecessary.

Clearly, the guys who will want to maximise the efficiency of the rules will use Borg, Nalbandian or Federer.

Anyhow, that is minor :) The tourney would be great fun I'm sure. :tu

Actually, I just don't like custom characters and can't be asked to sit and make custom characters all day to find the perfect formula. I simply don't care to do that and it's not fun, to me. Like Rob said, the pros are so balanced that I really don't think FOUR POINTS (74 vs 70) is that big of a deal. Borg still has only like 75 in speed and power, less than that on serve, and only 53 in volley! Custom characters are stupid. There, I said it.

I can beat you with a 65 points character   , so you can use whoever you want Jon.

PS: Lately I´ve seen many arrogant messages like this one

Half the people I've talked to about this have said the exact opposite. I probably wouldn't use the pros.

Me neither, the only doubt I have if I´m gonna use a one backhand player or not
