Arrghh shit, i just lost to Patko at AEGON international 6-7, 7-6, 6-7. I was feeling confident having beat hamburgerboy and he got to gerry weber final. I used my SV player and Patko his 'kool' player. There was no breaks in the game, the closest i came was 0-30 on his serve. The tiebreaks went i think 7-4 to patko, 7-5 to me, and last about 13-11 to patko when we both had 3 match points, and i missed a volley for literally the 2nd time in the match lol. In the 3rd set his returns were hitting the mark and i was having to pull out loads of real tough volleys and half volleys. In the end the stats were

1st Serve : Patko 91 Me 88
1st Serve win % : Patko 88 Me 87
2nd serve win % : Patko 80 Me 72
Aces: Patko 7 Me 8
DF: Patko 0 Me 0
winners: Patko 49 Me 53
U.E.'s: Patko 13 Me 5
Break points: patko 0/0 me 0/0
Total points: Patko 110 Me 106

Great game and were developin quite the rivalry. Look forward to playing again.

@CHEDERER - when you say good from baseline, do you mean risk or defense? ....returns, are these double-risked lottery shots or he mixes them well?

double trigger shoots are no lottery. you can handle it . with time for position+ timing

only double trigger returns are lottery

Trust me, against a good server, you will have to guess. ....well this is called anticipation.....so yeahh, I am not completely right for calling them "Lottery" It is just hard to call it anything else when you play an opponent that constantly doing them and not making any until the tie-break, when he does make a couple to take it away..... If you can make them consistent like Norberto or Rob or Pica - then it is a skill. I am just joking dude.

His style is constant double risk from the back of the baseline.
His serve is ok, but definately not great.
His returns are double risks as well, all the time. Smart serving is key

@djarvik--he does risk very consistently and turns his defense into offense for the most part---he mixes the returns well--its hard to guess--you really have to be on your toes and if you give him any type of slow ball---you can say too good point over---his only weakness is his serve---kinda sounds like me---he just needs to start mixing his serve up a little more...and oh yeah once he gets you behind the baseline he has a mean bh slice short that i can never get to---so basically you better be the aggressor or itll be a tough day at the office...no one would want to meet up with this guy early in a tourney----he has 80 on both wings---90 on return--60 on serve and you know 90 power and very speedy

I sure "like" them. They are so "cool" that I get a brain freeze every time I think of them.
