Well ToneDawg got his revenge  But it wasn't easy for either of us, he beat me 5-7 6-3 6-4, I now have a 3 match losing streak of winning the first set and losing the rest because SoundofSilence beat me earlier today 2-6 6-4 6-1. He broke my serve down early in the second and the third and I lost confidence on that shot. I'm honestly too lazy to break down what happened in both matches in each set so I'll leave it to them.

The fact that he had an awfull game reminds me of myself. I discovered some sort of pattern, in every set i have 1 dreadfull servegame, i don't know why.
It seems like i am the only one using slicevolleys as 1st serve, Villa, Alex, Tombs, Sound all use normal volleys. Perhaps a tip guys :)

Nope i always use the sqaure button for my 1st volley, and its rarely a risk one. The next volley depnds on how good i think the pass we be :) but i never use a circle and L2 volley, seems to have the owest accuracy rate.

Yea I only ever use O without the triggers. Good to know I'm not the only one that finds O+l2 dodgy.

And I usually try to not hit slice first volleys unless the return is low, I find it puts me in a tough position straight away unless its the l2+square short volley..which is kinda too easy to pull off for what it does. But if darkpaladin, villa and tombs always use slicevolley as their first then I must be the one doing something wrong lol

the short slice volley is the same as the short risk slice from back of court

Yeah it is, that's why I usually try to put that first volley on the baseline. Even when sliced that's still tough to get back, unless your name is coke4.

yep I've never liked it, its not a pretty volley either. I'm trying the real drop volley but for some reason the ball lands on the middle of the court lol, will have to figure that one out.

Just played Otlichno. He was Bishop and i was Cannon

He beat me 6/3 5/7 6/2. I´m happy i got a set from a very good player but sad because i only took 3 of 11 break points i generated.

Despite bishop not having a great serve, otlichno knows how to do it very well getting a lot of free points with aces or serve and winner.

Lots of deuces but it seems like in the important points he just played better than me.

Have to keep practising, but feel like every day i´m learning new things thanks to everyone who plays against me

ToneDawg is the ultimate kill joy. It took me about 4 months to be able to get a SET off him, about 7 to actually beat him. But when you'r playing well he is one of the funnest people to play against because he is SUCH a challenge, he never gives up and somehow always has the motivation to play better and better. If you think my serve is good just play against ToneDawg, he is capable of getting 20 aces in a match

I like tonedawg. He's really good, yet i always serve and volley well against him, which makes it close!

Just played Fedfan in a Federer-Berdych exhibtion, 5 sets at roland garros. You can see he's struggling for form as some patches plays amazingly well yet in others is inconsistent. i managed to win 4-6 6-1 6-4 6-1, the 1st set i played really good but fedfan just defended better and got everything back, and took the break. unfortunately in the 2nd he slowed down and i took advantage, in the 3rd he became more agressive and took the game to me but i managed to find another break and take the set. In the 4th he was struggling for stamina and played well, the scoreline of 6-1 is unfair but i broke early and then broke to love to take the match, However i was very worried after the 1st set and if he could have kept that level up i would have probably lost the game. Im sure this inconsistency though is just a bad patch. I think the difference between us is out of 111 points i won, 74 were winners.
