Jokes are only jokes if your audience understand they're supposed to be funny.

lost to rob 5-7, 1-6, 6-3, 1-6. Well that was not fun for me. Rob has 50 on backhand yet he risks like he has 90, there were no rallies, it was me getting 1 shot and then him risking, but he only had 7 unforced errors, and he risks the whole match. I end up with 13 and i dont risk, could my triggers be getting stuck down or something. oh well that loss really pissed me off, losing like that. Im still confused about how u have 50 on backahnd and yet make every single risk shot, whats up with that.(I guess that means u are just amazing)

Simple: I have no choice. If I don't risk with my backhand, the point is over. Period. But I definitely don't make every one of them.

I don't see how you say we had no rallies though. Maybe not on my serve, but I spent a lot of points defending with my backhand, and waiting for a short ball or a forehand. Sure there were a lot of short points too, but we had a bunch of rallies.

Well thats true u didnt make every shot, but u have a heck of a backhand for 50. I wasnt implying that no rallies, was bad, i was saying how effective you were with your risks. You won the point, but still only made 7 errrors.

In Coolhand's defense:

The other match was 6-4, 6-4 - not too lopsided.

Oh, not pissed at all. Just seemed a little hypocritical. I envisioned a worse beatdown.

emate---calm down buddy....i think if you used a Rob like set-up you would be more efficient....you are a great player on ITST--some players will tell you to use a stacked set-up and you will go deeper and further into tournaments....which may be true....but, for some of us this takes the fun out of this video game--hence VIDEO GAME....i always enjoy playing you with that original guy you have, but maybe way less on your bh and you should have a pretty decent forehand and i think all of your other stats are fine....just like Rob told me you can not be too powerful to be a s/v type of player...please dont give up ITST although i am about to pass you in the rankings...muah ha ha ha...stay here on ITST and lets all push for this sim tournament because all of the top players like this idea...

my new sv setup is 90 serve and volley, 75 Fh, 60 BH, 80 power, 40 return 45 stamina, 80 speed. I'm having some success, but need matches to get in the zone.

picachu vs chederer

Postby Chederer » Mon, 18 May 2009 16:48

dudes.....i do not know what it is....i played picachu a few weeks back and i was risk returning whatever serve he gave me did not really matter....i played one set with him this weekend and i dont know if i got nervous coz i was playing the #1 player or what, but i lost 1-6...i think if i had another set i could have figured out what was going on a little more, but basically how can someone just be that much better than me.....he has great top spin shots that are so deep i can only get a weak reply back....hope to play you again pica coz....i always love a challenge.....and you by far are the biggest challenge i have had to face and i played swifty last week and he also dismantled me....he actually bageled me, which---he is the only one who has ever served be a bagel....neways i still like this game and nothing will make me want to quit or give up--i have no other choice but to try and become a better player.

Pica makes very few mistakes, that makes the difference. I have 90 on return( I´m not very good at serving so I need that stat  ) and he always returns mixing lt+b or a, and always in.
Summarizing, he´s really good at returning, he´s gonna have chances to break you, so one thing you can do is to put more points on "return" and try to get the break back.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.
