Played miami 09 in a match me using my new serve and volley player with 90 serve and volley. It was very serve dominated mainly because id hit a 140mph serve and have a easy volley lol and miami kept me pinned to the baseline mostly on his service games. we had two tiebreaks and i got some good returns in and took them with a couple of minibreaks 7-6 7-6 and i also equalled my ace record of 10. There was some great shot making miami made some great passes and lobs and i had to make some tough volleys count to win.

yeah but...heck, now i suck on ps3 :x

i'm forced to play with a 360 layout now...so full speed...while many people on ps3 still loves 40 or 50 speed (actually, me included, but i felt like i was playing with a brick...my x360 character flies in comparison!)

Well i gave sim another try, and i still hate it. I do not like limiting stats. I lost to chederer 6-7, 6-7. I could keep my own on my serve, but in the tiebreaks all he had to do was to get one double trigger risk in to take it. I actually had more points than him and was suprised at that. I was 2 for 12 on breal points and that killed me. Probably because he alwasy serves outwide when he is in trouble. I hit more winners than him at 41 to 26.

Even thoug i dont like playing sim, we did have some great rallies. As i did my best to stay in most of them. Funny thing about this match was nobody could be consistent off serve it was all return.

Great match, chederer. i hope to get u in a 90 40 match.

I had two good matches with my two good friends on this tour last night, Burgrflipr and Mathrebel , I lost my first one but won the second , but i am blaming Burgrflipr for my win over Mathrebel :) hehe , i just needed to win a match at last ! :) I did get lucky over Mathrebel and i realise that esp today when i notice he won 6 0 6 0 in his match :)

Played 3 matches against Djarvik - great matches as always - Djarvik was playing with his SIM char, I was using my 90/90/90/90 char in the 1st match, and my SIM char (power90, speed80, for90, back75, volley40, serve50, return70, stamina65) in match 2 and 3.

I won match1 7-6,6-4, match2 6-7,7-6,6-4, match3 6-4,7-6 - I didn't expect to win the matches using my SIM char, as I played only 2 matches with a SIM char before - but I have to say, that I couldn't see so much difference to playing with my usual char (I only had to take a bit more risk on my backhand to score points).

i decided to give sim one more try with a 5 set with chederer. I lost 7-5, 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, 6-7. I was pissed. I dont understand i always win more points. this time i was 166 to 157. I always win more points but lose the match. I had match point in the rallie in the last set but he short sliced, and won the point. I had 64 winners to 21 errors. he had 51 and 37.

I am also confuse on how i have more winners, less unforced errors, and more total points, but still lost the match. Could someone please explain?

This was a great match, but i think nonriskers have disadvantages when playing sim, does anyone else agree?

i just won an epic match 3-6 7-5 6-3 against TWM-Fox.
The first 3 games saw long rallies with amazing winners, serving at 1-2 he got to 15-40 on my serve, i saved 1 b.p but he took the other. At 4-2 i got to 0-30 on his serve and again at 5-3 but both times he won 4 points in a row to hold, he won 5 more points than me in 1st.
In the second we both held easily until him serving at 4-5, i got to duece and got like 2 set points but he saved them both and held. Then at 5-6 i got to 15-40 but again he saved and got to advantage, but i fought to gain another set point/break point and took it for 7-5, i won like 9 more points that set.
3rd set wasnt as close, i was holding easily and getting to many duec's on his. I got some B.P at like 2-3 but he saved them, then at 3-4 i finally took my break point for 5-3 and served it out to 30.
Stats
1st serve In Me 71% Him 77%
Won on 1st Me 85% Him 70%
Won on 2nd Me 75% Him 58%
Aces Me 5 Him 1 Double Faults Me 1 Him 4
Winners Me 42 Him 51 Unforced Errors Me 4 Him12
Break Points won Me 2/8 Him 1/2
Points won Me 93 Him 77

You really want somebody to explain how you can have more winners and less unforced errors and still lose the match?  Dude that is the oldest story in the book, we have all lost matches like that, it's called "your opponent won the important points"

You must be kidding
How did you manage to pee( nappies???) and eat during the match?
