Here is a scenario:

You have 80 in return. Your opponent is serving. Your opponent is a power player with 90 power, 79FH, 69BH. His serve stats low at say 60.......

.....see were I am going?

If you time the shot well, which most of us do already, return to 69BH non-risk. And you got yourself a rally going!

Yes, that's one of the best things about this: it is not as necessary to hit risk returns. And, they are slightly less effective. It's not so much 'all-or-nothing'.

Are you going to play this tournament - cause you said that you are going to stop after Wimbledon?

I feel like there might be some disadvantages to the nonriskers?

Is this right or wrong? ( i havent tried it out yet)

well....i dont think so coolhand.....but, you are going to learn how to take risks---people in real life dont continue to roll the ball cross court the whole match and hit 30 winners and 3 unforced---you will have to learn the skill of risking....i know you use LT on some shots too coolhand--you just have trouble with the double risks

If you want to be an attacking player, you will need risk. If you want to be a counter puncher, you won't need them as much.

anteros uses the LT pretty often though right? Most of his shots are pretty close to the lines.

roger federer has 14 grand slam titles by taking risks and converting---especially under pressure moments---he does not have 14 grandslam titles by rolling the ball back and playing defenively----also for all you guys that complain about outwide serves----you should have watched the Lu vs Federer---Lu used the kick serve on the ad side to fed's backhand i think every single time....is that cheese---maybe we should tell him thats cheating ha ha ha ha h ha
