hes lika a big impregnale wall.so hard to pass him. i must fight for every point about him. hes far the best serve and volley player i ever played in ts3.

It's your returns. I won't say what you need to do, but it isn't RT+LT shots. They work when you make them, but there is a much better way.

i know ..but i hate slice returns
i also must find a better position by my return. that i can better cover both sides by your serve. (YOUR SERVE IS GREAT) because you serve a lot in middle.you mix your serve well.
so i work every day with my setup to play better. also i will stopp playing ts2 soon . that crashes my ts3 timings.

It isn't slice returns either. They can work, but the match turns into a game of patty-cake.

Just try different things next time, and you'll figure it out.

Mack u didnt add the 1 set that we were able to play, you won 7-6. Your returns have improved since the last time we played. It was a good first set but i had to play an itst match, which i won. Hope to play a complete match soon.

LOL I'm not going to tell you how to beat me!

Just think about how you would play against a serve and volleyer in real life - the same things work on TS3. You don't need to hit winners with the return, just make it hard for me to hit good volleys.

I know rob can be tough to figure out, but if u play him enough you may catch a glimmer of a weakness and then u might figure it out, but it still is tough to execute. Rob has to have a bad serving day :D

Rob is very difficult to pass at the net. Almost impossible. I think if you're one of those people who doesn't use risk shots, you're absolutely screwed.

hes really hard to pass. i make mistake to overpowerd his serve with my return. i think i try in future not to attack his serve.hes too strong with serve. i try to play safe returns, than i try overlob him with lt y lt+rt Y or normal y lob,and i shoot risk passing balls in a mix.
i will test this tactic in some matches about serve-volleyplayer

yeah sometimes volleyers definetly feed off the powerful returns and makes it easier for them ( as u can probably tell im not a volleyer lol ) but i have been trying a lot more to come in during exhibitions , its just a bit more risky trying it on the tour :D :D but i would like to try , i set a lot of balls up as well but mostly for swing volleys but they arent as effective ive noticed in the game

It's definitely possible for the returner to win points on my serve without using risks. But using them, and using them correctly, is even better.

Correct.

Risk is part of the answer. But I am not going to reveal the other part

....simply because I plan to spend some time SVing myself in the very near future!

I am going to have to disagree with "Almost impossible" part. It is not easy, but far from Impossible.

about serve volley player in ts3,the decision where win the point, falls in the first 2 shoots-. so i find this ways
you can risk return and hold him at the baseline.
or you returns save and than risk or lob or passshoot.
or a slice, but slice not work well by me.
latest after the second volley you need the point.
for me is in moment nearly impossible to riskreturn robs superserve permanent.
i think nobody can riskreturn rob every time.
