Me and Joe have a deal: He doesn't tell anyone how to return my serve, and I don't give all of his opponents walkovers in ITST tournaments.

I had an exhibition match with Anil. a day ago. I won 7-6 1-6 7-6.

Wonderful match! Lots of rallies, I even hit a number of winning volleys and drop shots!

Anil. is scary, in the second set he was returning all of my serves  and if you played me, you know I am a decent server and mix well.
That was the only weakness of Anil's game before, and now it is gone!

Even thou I won, it was because of a 1-2 important points in tie break, most of the match I was holding on.

I got to give it to you Anil, you have the most effective attacking game on the tour, and by far the most consistent attacking game. Not complete game, not verity - but just shear baseline painting! A very solid server and now, a good returner. Add to that a solid movement and defense.

I think you should stop playing, you becoming just plain unfair.

Good stuff dude!

I've just played my best match so far. It was against SoundfSilence.

He was playing his Agassi character, I was playing my John Doe baseliner character (not serve&volleying for a change). Both realistic setups (FH/BH/Power 80/80/80 vs 90/70/75 and both decent speed and stamina).

I took a quick 5-0 lead (well... 2nd game took ages) but then he really upped his game and fought back to 5-3 before I took the set 6-3.

Then in the 2nd set I took an early break, but halfway the set I lost my serve. It ended up in a tiebreak (after him having a setpoint on 5-6, my serve), in which SoundfSilence took a 6-2 lead, but somehow I managed to comeback to 6-6, only to go behind 6-7 again. Then took the point to make it 7-7.
In the next rally I slightly had the upperhand, but with a magnificent forehand he took the point to get his 7th setpoint. Again he didn't convert it. And then I went on to take the set and the match 6-3 7-6(8.)

Great fun, lots of rallies, the balls just kept coming back as we both only occassionally used risk.
Serve-percentages were even realistic, both between 50-70%.

Really great fun to play with those setups!

I need someone to play an exo with :(

I played pfnerch and i won 6-4 6-7 14-12(super tiebreak).. very fun match and i won cause of some lucky points in the tiebreak. 90 serve guys are tough. I think what help me won is my defense, i was on the run alot and when i had a chance to attack i did. thank you pfnerch for a fun match.

well ive found that in real tennis it is important to be confident, so why not on this tour.....haha

when i go into a match thinking im the underdog on ts3 i play stupid.....

i dont mean to come off as cocky, just confident ;).....

and i know that im not close to being the best, but u never know wat practice can do, especially on topspin 3
