I guess Rob means that you generally just have to mix up serves well. Right?

No, not really. What I mean is: I find 99% of the players cannot serve up the middle with enough power and accuracy to force you to cover it. So basically, you can always cheat towards the wide serve and still cover everything.

you're right, I'm one of the 99%. I just cant get to hit the ball accurate enough, making my down the T serves vulnerable. I can't find the right timing:(

that is a tuff shot... with my 50 serve,, people camp out on my wide serve, and then when i go up the middle, its not fast enough, so my opponent can get to it and still hit a good return. so i'm going to start using ALL the serves in the book i think. slow, fast, top spin, slice, short, long, middle, whatever.... lol

Just had a great match with Tantsupalavik. He played with his Hewitt, on clay, and even then I won 6-4 7-6. Normally, I don't like to play against a defensive player and I don't like clay so this is really a big win for me. I managed to be patient and keep a clear focus in order to not give him too much rhythm. It worked out well.

Played a tough match with chederer on clay today. I won 6-4, 7-6. The first set i broke at 4-4 and served it out. The second set he had 2 oppurtinties to break and i had 5. Came really close on one but he made a great defensive shot. The tiebreak was really weird, we both had trouble holding a minibreak. I used a great reutrn at 7-6, to force the error.

Great match, Chederer.

I had a few matches today. Beat Moralspain 6-3 6-2 in a very nice match. There were some great clay court rallies where we were both using all corners of the court. After that I had a few matches with CallofDuty but he was having some serious serving struggles which was strange to see.

Great match with Djarvik yesterday, he won 4-6 7-6 7-6. We played on clay ( Barcelona ), awesome rallies using lt+b or a.
I used my new character Ferrero, and he tried for the first time ( i think)his Dudi Sela.
Good fun, i don´t mind losing when i play a match like that. Thanks mate

Played Rob some hours ago and won 4-6, 7-6, 7-6. This was the second time in a row that Rob was the better player who scored more points than me, and me being the lucky guy! However, Rob is without a doubt one of the best out there right now - drawing him early in a tournament belongs to the most horrible things that can happen to you on ITST

- exactly like drawing ACEUSAM - played my 2nd round Monte-Carlo match against him yesterday - I won 6-7, 7-6, 7-6, but he had match points at 5-4 in the 2nd set, and tons of match-points in both of the last two tie-breaks - the only difference between us was luck - nothing else! He is an excellent player, that's for sure (and many of you guys would like his stats, only something like 80 on fore - and 78 on backhand)
