MarlonBrando91's Rogers defeats Darkpaladin's Jansen

7-6 6-2

Marlon D.P

%first serve 56 90
%points won on 1rst 78 61
%points won on scd 69 86
Aces 0 2
DF 0 0
Winners 40 32
U.Errors 12 20
Break Points 2/2 0/2
Total points 72 58

A really fun match.Great.

This is really hard for my first match wit rogers to be opposed to the best volleyer out there, darkpaladin above all when u uses jansen.

I really enjoy cause the speed and stamina of rogers is really great to play. Each point andd each big shots or volleys of the darkpaladin were really great, but rogers fired up and run after all the balls.

After a tight first games for me, i managed to hold and wait for the tiebreak to start to read a little better the Jansen's serve and volley. In the second i start to try to execute my return lob and change of pace well.

Congrats to Darkpaladin, i was lucky on break points and was very close.

See U.Good luck all.

Yeah good game.

Marlon defended really well, i was pounding him with R2\L2 shots on his serve, and good volleys on my servegames but this guy kept sending the ball back, just like a wall.

Okay i was a bit unlucky with the breaks but my stamina was getting more red while he kept flying around the court running to every ball.

If he keeps up this level of play he might win the whole event. GL!

Yeah, I've totally lost the feel of the game after not playing for a week, so played a non-risk game, which if you're timing is off is still difficult given the low power of bishop. So many long rallies, with him playing aggressively, and me pushing like Murray and thus losing :P
I was hoping for him to make the errors, but he just didn't. I indeed broke out of nowhere to 6-5 in the 2nd set, but was struggling on my service games throughout the match, and couldn't hold on this time. Was only broken twice though.
He was just doing everything slightly better than me, especially the returns.

Well, see you all back in october for the ITST-tournaments!

Yeah you just need a better serve especially against naka because I found it pretty easy returning a good shot, not so much winning a point because you were playing like murray lol. I found it kinda hard to serve well with bishop that's why I'm changing although I could use all buttons and right stick well I just couldn't get enough cheap points.

Had a very enjoyable match with Maximo , his Bashmikov tho was very powerful against Johnson and was just very difficult to even get half way in the court for the volley, was over in minutes

Bashmakov def. Gray 6-3 , 7-6

Was a difficult match against a great baseliner, calvkln played very well and had several bp in the match, but i was lucky in that important points and i could break him once in the first set, in the second there weren´t bp, i think both saved a couple of them and in the tie break one mini break was enough for win the match, well played mate, u hit the ball really well , much better than me.

Congrats on your win, there were many many great rallies between the both of us, but your special weapon, your outwide slice serve on both sides of the court, gives you an overwhelming edge. Not much that I could do. Good luck on your future matches as you progress.

It's official the game hates me. Not trying to take away from alex(I even sent him a masg saying lucky bastard lol). Seriously I got broken first game in both sets and then held quite easy and was pushing his serve even had 3 brk points and the combination of good vollying and game getting its rocks off at me losing resulted in him holding lol. Although I must admit my volleys suck although sometimes I time it right and it just refuses to work. Oh he was sv btw, and suprisingly there was only one bs points, you know the point in which he other side of court you hit risk hard shot and he teleports there and volleys leaving you going wtf and then hitting a softer ball which a player who has good volley takes advantage of and smacks it. Of course it had to happen when he was serving for match haha. In rallies he was def keeping my naka honest with his angles and his running shots which lets be honest suck to be on the receiving end of. Although when he broke me in first game he did 2 of them and I thought **** how am I going to win and then I decided to come to net and hit my AWESOME soft slice volleys, also normal slices helped me a bit but most of time resulted in him slamming it. Oh that also reminds me of how I could not for the life of me lob him lol.

Mmm probably should have put this into paragraphs. Oh well you guys will live. 6 -4 6-4 btw.
