ok there will be 3 players trying out for the #3 spot. These player are:

Cupudan80
Davetheman...
RobITST

plz try to play against everyone that is trying it so that u get to matchis in, it would be nice to have this done by sunday night, i will be sending out PM's to the players to make sure they understand everything and get the message!

Why weren't more ppl asked to play for the Davis Cup spot? I'm kinda up in the ITST ranks at #35. It just would have been nice for others to have been considered instead of it just being like a 2 person deal running the show.

What do u mean top players? I was in the top 5 Americans in TS2, and now in TS3 also...So I dunno what you mean by that????? If we are only taking 3 players wouldnt it be logical to have at least #3 , 4, and 5 compete for the #3 spot, especially if we are only going to field a 3 man roster as opposed to a 5 man roster which we are allowed to do???

im not sure how we are going to do this?
do we have to use the ITST rankings or can we choose who plays in number 1, 2 or 3?
I order to give the usa the best chance of winning this is what I think would be best:

1-- Snowflake
2-- Anteros
3-- Everybody who wants to play 3 should play a match between each other and see who is the best. Then come and post it on this forum so we can know who is number 3
If you wish to be even number 1 or 2 you can play a match agaisnt us and see how you do... and we can fixe the standings accordingly? what do you guys think?

That sounds fair enough. I'll try and arrange a few practice matches with Tri Fecta and let you know how they went. I don't think you get to choose who plays 1, 2, and 3 for some reason, instead the top three players you put on your 5-man roster are automatically designated 1, 2, and 3 in order. Maybe Rob can clarify this?

If you all want, I can take it. Like I said before, I captained the USA TS2 Davis Cup team last year. The only problem is I can't compete with the very top players so I may not know which matchups I can depend on for a win. But maybe if I practice with you and Anteros enough I could get to that point and make good decisions...
