played rob twice last night. I took the first match 6-1, 7-6. I started off strong in the opening and took an early lead. My returns were very consistent in the fist set. In the second he really started hitting his form. We held serve throughout. He had 4 break point oppurtinities (4-5 and 5-6). The tiebreak i took an early mini break and held serve.

Second match went my way as well. 6-3,7-6. First was much like the other first set. In the second i saw one breakpoint oppurtinity and failed. I also tooka an early lead and held serve in the tiebreak.

Nice match Rob.

I've beaten pink moozipan yesterday. 7-6, 6-2. Was a very nice match...the first set was loads of fun. In the second set something happened to him, and I was able to break him twice. Finally a win again:)

Now I wanna play mack again....we couldnt connect yesterday:(

Me and Rob went at it again tonight. This time he was the one who prevailed. 6-3,6-7,7-6. It was a fantatic match with long and great rallies. Rob's serve was a bit more on than last night, or my returns were less effective than last night. He took an early break in the first and served it out. Second was tight, i took an early minibreak but doublefaulted but i got it back and seved out the set. Third was the same except he was the one who had one good return to take the set.

You got your revenge Rob, nice match :D

I had some good matches with a few ITST members tonight - djarvik, Acerbomb, and Kernel. I only won one of the matches, and I don't remember the exact scores, but the matches were generally pretty close. The most important thing, though, is that I had a lot of fun. :)

I've decided to commit to being a speedy player for now since that style of play seems to cater more to my abilities, and I have more fun with it than with the power game. Right now I'm using the setup I talked about in another thread with a slight tweak. Kernel suggested that I take 5 points away from my stamina and add them to my power, which makes them both 75. It seemed to help a little.

It seems like stamina doesn't really matter when you have to run a lot, especially in 3 set/3 game matches. It also seems like once my heart meter turns red, it pretty much stays there regardless of how high my stamina stat is.

Right, I'm aware of that. I'm going to practice some more in 3 set/6 game matches offline to see how my player's stamina holds up, because the World Tour matches are only 3 sets/3 games. It seemed like 80 stamina was more than enough the few times I tried it - but like I said, I'll have to practice more with it to see what happens.

As long as my stamina holds up and I time my shots well, it seems like 70 power is enough for my guy. But once his heart meter turns red and stays there, he's essentially useless without risk shots, which is unacceptable because I don't want to have to risk.

The stamina works in mysterious ways.

It drains quicker on 3 set matches, then 6 set matches.

This is done to emulate an effect of a full match, regardless of the amount of games per set.

You have nothing to worry about.

You did thou threw me off with that 3 games a set yesterday  caught me by surprise and took a tie break!

^ Heh heh heh...yeah, it was all a part of my master plan!

I want to see how my speedy player will hold up against you, djarvik. I haven't been feelin' my slower Blake wannabe lately.

played holla itz mike in a practice match today, and i gotta say, that he has definitely top10 potential!! his serve is weird but effective, his returns are scary and his groundgame is full of power with a lot of strategy! i m sure that he s up to great things and by the time he s handed a better draw, where he doesnt have to face one of the top 3 or 4, he will stay alive much longer in the tournaments! keep it up mike, and kick some of the top guys butts :D

yes when i lost to u pfernch stamina was a huge factor in the 3rd set, now i have it up at 60 so i dont have problems with it.....idk i think i am going to have to resort to having 90 on serve like a lot of the top players

I've played Aniltje yesterday and I won 6-7, 7-6, 7-6. It was a really fun match, he was risking his ass off, and the only thing i was able to do was to keep the ball in the court and hope for his mistakes. And it payed off. He did almost win though, in the second set it was 0-40 on my serve, but I managed to win the game. And in the 3rd set I had a break lead from the very beginning, until at 5-4 (me serving for the match) he broke me back:( That's when I started screaming. But things turned out well and I won:)

Which character was anil using during your match?

Sometimes he uses realistic setups or he uses his itst player. If it was his itst player then congrats on a hard earned win.

Don't know if he had his ITST char, but fh/bh/pw were 90...so i was glad to withstand that LOL. Normally i suck hitting back other people's risks, but this time it went quite well and using a different button every time you return risk shots helps too:)
