ITST Open SIM Tournament - players and reports.

Just got beat by patko 7-6(3) 7-6(4)

He was house and i was house. I had 90 fh, he had 90 bh, and he was a lefty. His serve was stupid! Eother that or lag meant my player didnt react to the serve Anyway, i got 21 aces bombed past me.

We each had 1 break of serve - at 5-5 in the second set He broke then was serving then i broke again at the second break point. To be honest, he was looking the more likely to break during the second set, and i was falling behind a bit, but i somehow pulled through. The first sent went with serve EASILY.

He had double the amount of unforced errors and winner. I had about 30 winners and 8 unforced. I also hit 1 ace myself

Did you manage to record that match? I'm curious about how a lefty house with 90 bh plays against 90 fh rh'd house

no i didnt, cause i havent found out how to get audio yet

Are you using digital audio from your PS3? Maybe you need to switch it to analog.

Yes i think so. The AV audio from the ps3 is going into my stereo AUX ports. Not sure if that is effecting anything. Basically means that i dont hear it from the tv, but through my stereo. i tried multiple setting on the ULEAD thingy, but i couldnt get any audio from the ps3

You are probably using analog, but you only have it hooked to your stereo. I assume you use the red and white cables to run sound to your stereo?

Look on your stereo and see if there are audio outputs. Then run RCA (red and white) cables to your capture card from there.

Right ok. I have my 3 splitter. I have my ps3 to AV cable plugged in the singular side of the splitters. I then have the splitter av to easyCAp av and splitter av to tv(video) and stereo(audio) av.

Ive got the video working just fine, but the audio wasnt working :/

It isnt the easycap thing, cause i plugged my ps2 straight in, recorded a spectator match on SCT2 and it had audio and all.

Just lost to Alex13090 6-2 6-4. His serve was pretty surprising for a 59 stat on it and I felt it was pretty hard to return. Dominated me in all areas of the match, I would be in a rally thinking I won the point but than he would suddenly get the ball and turn it into a winner. But reaching the Quarters in you'r first ITST tournament is pretty good I guess.

Nice match, I had to take my chances on everyone of your serves, 90 pw+srv meant a weak return would be smacked cross court. Even then I only converted 1/4, which is pretty bad usually. Against you I'm happy to have converted even one though

Definately, in my first Itst match I got knocked out 1st round, so quarters on your 1st is great

Nice report dude . It was a fun and fair match between us. First and second set was really close, I got some chances to break he's serv. But didn't finish the break. He played very well tennis btw . We both played with G.House, and I had some troubles with reacting my player. House reacts more slower than I thought... looking forward to the next match against LERC.

Well, I've decided I'm only going to be playing the sim tour next year, might play the slams but really, MS is just..not for me. Dunno how people still enjoy it , so boring

just played and lost my match against josenylund(lopez) 4-6 4-6
I used bucci.
good match with a thrilling end...

1rst set we held easily the serve untill 4-5.on my serve he had 3bp from 0-40-he broke me at the first chance.
2nd set he broke me suddenly and he lead 3-5.I thought was over.instead,while he was serving for the match,I had1 bp and I converted it.
so 4-5 I serve.we reached advantages and he had 4 consecutive match point but I saved it.then I had 1 game point but didn't convert it.He had another mp and the match was over


I had more chances to break him in the 2nd set when he got tired.I felt that if held my serve on 4-5 I could have win thx to my stamina.I felt more confident in the end of 2nd set.
