Edit; Im not trying to win anything or start arguments im just annoyed because "top players" in any game always think that they know it all when they really dont. :?

My deepest apologies. I stand corrected. :-)

Played 2 fun matches today.
1) v. xranger07 - won, 7-6, 4-6, 7-6. I got really lucky in the 3rd set. He was up a minibreak in the 3rd set TB, I managed to get it back. We managed to both hold exchanging match pts. At 8-7, my match point, he dbl faulted. I felt so bad for him, but I was very lucky to get the win.

2) v. josenylund - lost 7-6, 6-7, 5-7. 1st set, we both held serve, i ran away in the TB. 2nd set, i broke to go up 4-3, but he broke back and ran away in the TB. 3rd set, got broken at 5-5, match over. Really fun match w/ everything: rallies, serve & volley, good stuff.

I find this a complete opposite. I can retrieve every ball on PS3 while on XBOX I move like a tank.

I serve better on XBOX.

I return much better on PS3.

Volley better on XBOX.

Good God, I am the exact opposite of all this in regards to the ps3 and xbox  I guess it just depends on the person then.

TS3 is a hard game to learn, no doubt. As far as risks, they're a good way to learn to play - they're done just like normal shots, but require better positioning and timing. It's not a bad idea to use them in practice, since they will always let you know when you've done something wrong. If you can get halfway decent at them, your regular shots will improve right along with them.

There aren't a lot of "tricks" to TS3. It does take experience to learn how to play the right shot at the right time, but mostly it's anticipation, reaction, timing and positioning.

BTW: Who's that in your avatar? Is that Fred's ex? Or are you Fred's ex? :?:

its actually 4-6 7-6 7-6. The minibreak was actually a match point on my serve. He managed to hit a very good return which put me under pressure right from the beginning. Pity that the match ended with a double fault. :( But well played :)

I just absolutely dont understand these complete shortcross court shots i mean every time someone plays one agaisnt me i say HOW!!! Like i was playing against a Nalbadian and he was doing some insane shots and really floaty and angled sliced shots which got me out of position so easily so he could just risk. The end result was 6-2 6-1 and i was trying everything i mean i pulled of good dropshots against him but i really dont understand shortcross court so much i dont even know the buttons and the real floating slice shot which was so angled i didnt even know it could be so i didnt even know you could play those shots :L Im so confused right now everyone plays this shortcross stuff i cant and i cant even play a good sliceeee grrrr confused to max right now :P

LT + B should give you a nice topspin cc shot. I must say so far I find it hard to create good angles on ps3 compared to the xbox

I only tend to use the slice defensively but I think maybe you should tweek your stats, your high power stats didn't really show at all, also you need to practice your serve as you have little variation on it.

Don't get down about it though, it's trial and error. Like I said I got hammered by Brgerflipr in my first couple of matches on the tour but nowadays we have really fun competitive matches which can go either way.

I know but i feel as if stacked stats is the only way i can win one game for now ive tried 80 power of 70bh or 85 fh and i dont even get 1 game. Ill try and i know i cant serve because i find the timing odd. Everytime i try to release before he swings still goes out. Im not at home but when i get home ill practice.
