(pretend) ITST is having a contest of which you can submit one sim player to add to the SIM tour. And whoever gets their player approved by ITST, wins the contest.

What would you submit?

I still think the year end No.1 should all get a chance to design a player as a reward.

Then management pick one for next season.

I have always liked that idea fedfan since the first time you said it on that post a while back.

I am definitely against the year end number 1 designing a player. I just know it will not end well. As far as voting for a certain player, it could be OK, but then again...no, I would not want that. The whole idea is that players would be balanced and I doubt that players voted in will be balanced...they are likely to be a bit overpowered. It is natural to pick the "better" setup.

....we have spent TONS of timing checking and testing players against other players, to keep things balanced........the last thing we need is a "created" player to destroy that balance.

I am however more then happy to discuss addition of new players to the roster. If anyone wants to make suggestions, please do so in this thread or open a new one. I will be more then happy to break things down and see if we can add anything.

i like the balance that exists in the current SIM setup myself and agree with Djarvik - designing a player will inevitably lead to that char being over-something or other - next season would be overrun with matches using that *stronger* player.....yawn.

you know what that sound is Mr Annnnnnnderson........

It's basically a Rogers but better at both wings. I just really wanted someone to be essentially a true counter-puncher/pusher.

What height and weight?

What will be his weakness?

I was kind of wondering the same thing about a weakness, I'd totally play with that guy. No weak wing, super fast, and his lowest stat is serve which as we all know is basically irrelevant.

yeah, my thoughts exactly....looks like Bishop on Speed.

Have you played my Bishop with 71 speed and 64 stamina? Seems fast?

Well, this guy would be way faster.

5'11" 140- 150lbs

Well, i was thinking his weaknesses would be a weak return, serve, and power. Somebody just build for rallies and baseline oriented.

but to revise...
