What aspect of Mental game you need to improve?

Pick the one that hurts you the most.

I find that my problem is "Holding Back my Game". I seem to play too safe, not going for my shots until its too late. This is my biggest issue.

How about you?

i feel like as of late i can not convert on my break points----my return game is the strongest part of my game....but, when it counts i choke...just like the SF against murda 5-5 in the 3rd--i was up 15-40 on his serve--i could not convert the two break points i had....why?

My question to you is: Did you choke? ...or was it just great serving clutch time from MUDRA? ....meaning, did you get a look at second serve? ...or a good look at first serve, just failed on execution?

because having a break point here is because you got some good returns but theyre not going to happen again...then the game comes back to normal and the server wins...

murda has 65 on serve...soo, i can pretty much anticipate where the serve is going if i guess the wrong way i still have time to get in the right spot....and i know 9/10 times it will be a kick serve....i got the serve i was looking for both break point opportunities--my hands got shaky and sweaty and swung too early and just missed the line both times by like half a foot---but hats off to murda he did serve really good---this match i hit like 8 double trigger risk retunrs in a row...i was on fire especially the 2nd set...

I say tiebreaks against top 40 in ITST, my serve is very solid, played 28 matches in current world tour holding serve 96% of time (i use my itst player) but against a top player here on ITST match & world tour my serve points im awful in tiebreak just tonnes of unforced errors, I beat cpudan80 last week 7-6 7-6 with winners in tiebreak because i thought i had him in those tiebreaks

I voted other: My weakest thing is that I don't seem to be able to give that little extra at big points.
Good example of this is Anil (at least in DMT) he can raise his level of play when needed. I wish I have that.

my main mental problem is converting break points, apart from that my mental game is good, i find i am saving most b.p's when i come up against them which is good.

My problem is continuing to be agressive on my break point chances, I tend to be a little passive and and try and force my opponent into error rather than trying to take matters into my own hand.

It's catch 22 though as I hate to make sloppy errors so if I did that on the break points I'd probably be complaining I'm to wasteful on my chances and dont force my opponent to save the bp.

I want to say great job for posting this Djarvik. I eluded to this fact when I stated putting an other for intangibles to improve on.

Great job mate.
