IMHO the biggest problem gamers are facing is successfully returning risk serves that are wide out (not necessarily cheesers). Guys that have figured this out out are at the top of the current rankings.
While there are cheesers that serve out wide, most top guys I have played still RISK SERVE into the corner making it difficult to return the serve properly. What happens is that points on their serve end pretty quickly.....
I don't risk serve, but do power serve w/ stick (50 on serve, 100 on pow - currently). I try to mix the serves and not aim right for the side corner on every serve. Also, in general, I don't like using risk (I can but just doesn't feel right....)
So.. I tried boosting my return stats (from 50 to currently 70) and yes there is improvement with holding A/B/X, but still the only thing that works on serves going 120+mph straight into the corner is risk (LT or RT, but best is LT/RT).
The more I play, the more I feel that risking is the only way to go against these types of serves, but generally prefer to play w/o risk....
SO.... I am curious to see what are people using to return bullet risk serves.
